The
27th annual Power Big Meet
Let´s look back at the 2004 Power Big Meet. An
indrecible event considering the fact that the weather
in most parts of Europe over the second weekend of July
was extremely bad. However Power Big Meet and Västerås
was spared and had a very small dose of wet weather
and quite a lot of sunshine. The 2004 Swap Meet was
bigger than ever and now covers a foot-scorching 4 kilometers
with some 500 vendors/sellers of cars parts, nostalgia
and related products.
Good
traffic flow
In the past the problem of 10.000 cars leaving the show
area has been monumental. This year new exists were
opened and you could be out in 15 minutes if you chose
the "campground exit". Smart tip for next
year!
An
international event
Big Meet is American Car Heaven and guests from all
over the world give the event an incredible international
flavor. Shown here, cars from Great Britain, Finland,
Denmark, and all the way from Zurich.
Results
of the judgements The 2004 People's Choice winner was Ole Kristian
Böhler, from Norway, with his wild 1969 Dodge Charger
equipped with a GMC 8-71 blown 478 cubic inch Hemi engine.
The same car won the Street Machine class.
