The result was 23 degrees, sunny and warm Thursday and Friday. Cloudy but warm on Saturday, which normally is the biggest day. 2,100 cars Thursday. About 5,000 Friday and 6,200 cars on Saturday means a record that will probably be valid for a very long time. More than 13,000 cars all together, but please note that a large amount was on the field all three days and that way were counted several times. It's still a fantastic amount!

Many years Power Big Meet have been "struck" by rain or too hot weather (33 degrees). This year the weather was perfect for the swap meet and the 600+ vendors enjoyed it tremendously. The visitors could really stroll on the long market street and "shop 'til you drop". Optimum circumstances! The in- and outlets worked incredibly well this year. Thanks to 8 files onto the field the waiting time was minimal – a couple of minutes maximum. Leaving the field also went very smoothly (new record) in spite of the enormous amount of vehicles.

This year Power Big Meet received a lot of positive write-ups in the press – both locally in news papers and nationally on the radio and TV. Let's hope the turn-around is permanent. Rows of international journalists were present in Västerås. The tourist industry in the Västerås area broke all kinds of records.

The 30th anniversary event was spectacular and we take the opportunity to thank all who contributed – all club representatives that worked and all crew members that toiled from early mornings to late at night.

It does not get any better than this!
